An event, organised by a network co-founded by controversial billionaire investor Peter Thiel has set its sights on Ireland.
Hosted by the Dialog group, it is due to take place in The Powerscourt Hotel in Wicklow in August.
Mr Thiel is a backer of US President Donald Trump and co-founder of Palantir, an AI company which has worked with ICE, the Israeli military, and US military.
Prime Time’s Jack McCarron tells Behind the Story they have obtained a copy of details of some of those invited to attend the Wicklow event.
He said some of those on the list include senior figures from big tech companies such as Open AI, Anthropic, Google and YouTube – alongside “politicians, military leaders, investors, academics and media personalities”.

Mr McCarron said there are concerns around such conferences, as people do not know what goes on.
“I think that’s the reason this story has got so much attention – it is that secrecy and confidentiality.
“It’s influential people who are getting facetime with politicians, who ultimately enact policy in whatever countries they’re from,” he added.
Among those on the list are Democratic and Republican US politicians, as well as MPs from Finland and Denmark, alongside a former British MP.
Fran and Eamon also discuss the big stories of the week – including the by-election victory for Andy Burnham in the UK and why the World Cup is making headlines both on and off the soccer pitch.
