Ireland State Savings officials have shared details about a lucky Prize Bond that’s just made someone in Co Cork €50k richer.
It’s a handy sum to scoop coming into the weekend, and this week’s top prize from the weekly draw. Next week, as it’s the last week of the month, the top prize will be a whopping half a million euro.
Details have been revealed about this week’s top-winning prize bond:

There were over 8,693 prizes awarded in this week’s Prize Bond Draw, amounting to more than €728,900 dished out to lucky prize bondholders.

Other cash prizes awarded each week include 20 €1,000 prizes and 20 €500 prizes. Prize Bonds are an Irish State Savings product which, instead of paying interest, offers bondholders the chance to win tax-free cash prizes every week.
Founded in 1957, the Prize Bonds draw is Ireland’s longest-running prize draw.
Cork has had a pretty lucky streak, as a bondholder in the Rebel County scooped the top prize last week too!
