A book of evidence is still awaited in the case of a French national accused of urinating on a woman’s clothing, stealing her underwear and harassing her in Donegal.

Christian Blanc is charged with eight offences relating to dates in 2025.

The 59-year-old is to stand trial at Letterkenny Circuit Court.

The matter was mentioned this week at Falcarragh District Court. Garda Sergeant Oliver Devaney informed the court that a book of evidence is not yet ready in the matter.

Blanc’s solicitor, Mr Patsy Gallagher, consented to an adjournment with the case put back to September 16.

All of the alleged offences occurred at the same property at Ballintemple, Falcarragh.

He is charged that on May 4, 2025, he entered the building as a trespasser and damaged a mattress and bed clothes by urinating on them.

The charge is contrary to Section 12 (1) b and 3 of the criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud Offences) Act, 2001.
