Calvin Harris this weekend stakes his claim for the title of the greatest DJ of all-time after selling a peerless and record-breaking 110,000 tickets for his three Irish shows this summer.
The inspirational producer and deck-meister’s first headline set in Ireland was in the late noughties at the 800-capacity Academy in Dublin, but tomorrow night he will command an audience of 40,000 ardent fans at Marlay Park in south Dublin. It’s one of the hottest tickets of the summer.
And on Sunday, the legend plays to another 30,000 revellers at Malahide Castle, which became one of the quickest-selling shows ever at the iconic north Dublin outdoor venue. No other DJ or dance act in history has played to that many music fans in Dublin in one weekend.
But that’s not enough for the One Kiss creator who will return to play for another 40,000 Irish fans later this summer at Boucher Road Belfast on Friday, August 22, as part of the Vital 2026 event.
This is not the first time Harris has broken new ground in Ireland. His co-headliner with Tiesto at 3Arena in 2013 is widely acclaimed as the most visually spectacular electronic music show to have taken place at Ireland’s largest indoor music venue.
The hitmaker has also been breaking world records and dominating the charts globally for much of the past two decades since his Rihanna collaboration in 2011 We Found Love became his first worldwide No.1. The video for the track was shot in Ireland and won a Grammy Award.
Harris has racked up more than 40 billion combined audio and video streams, making him one of the most viewed artists on YouTube and one of his record company Sony Music’s biggest streaming artists.
He has collaborated with massive stars, including Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Katy Perry, Kelis and Travis Scott, to name but a few. And his work has received a string of top music awards and nominations.
The only Irish artist he has collaborated with is the supremely talented songsmith, singer and DJ Jazzy who will support Harris at all three 2026 Irish shows.
Their sun-soaked piano house track Satisfy blends the Scottish DJ’s signature radiant chords with Jazzy’s warm, soulful vocals. It’s set to become the iconic song of the summer at these huge outdoor concerts.
Calvin Harris plays Marlay Park Saturday, Malahide Castle on Sunday and Boucher Road on August 22. All three shows are completely sold out.
