Le Grand Rex, located in Paris, is one of Europe’s largest and most renowned cinemas, celebrated for its stunning Art Deco architecture and a spacious main hall that accommodates around 2,800 guests.

The Cinémathèque Française, a leading film institution globally, recently honored Rajamouli with a permanent seat. Established by Henri Langlois, it is recognized as a unique venue dedicated to the preservation and celebration of film history, making this acknowledgment a significant occasion for both the director and Indian cinema.
During the event, he shared a memorable moment with Costa-Gavras. The Oscar-winning director expressed his appreciation for Rajamouli’s work by viewing his films for nearly eight hours prior to the event.
