A TD and doctor has said that many emergency departments are no equipped to deal with people with mental health issues.
The Oireachtas Committee on Health will this morning hear from multiple representatives from both the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland and Mental Health Reform on how hospital emergency departments respond to patients presenting with mental health issues.
