After playing dates across Europe and the UK, chart-topping musician Dermot Kennedy is bringing his latest tour to Dublin this weekend for one hell of a homecoming

Platinum-selling artist Dermot Kennedy is headed home to Dublin to play two sold out gigs at the Aviva Stadium this weekend.
The chart-topping singer songwriter has had a meteoric rise since his first album was released in late 2019 with his second effort, Sonder, also reaching the top of the charts.
Dermot’s much-anticipated hometown shows will take place at the Dublin stadium on Saturday, July 11, and Sunday July, 12, with the gigs set to feature fan favourites spanning Dermot’s discography.
Fans will be belting out big hits such as Giants, Outnumbered, Better Days, Glory and Something to Someone this weekend, as Dermot becomes the first Irish solo artist to play two shows at the iconic venue.
We have all the info you need ahead of this weekend’s gigs, including what time the show is scheduled to get under way, and how you can get your hands on some last-minute tickets.

Tickets
A handful of tickets to Dermot’s gigs at the Aviva Stadium are available via Ticketmaster, although these are expected to be snapped up ahead of the two shows.
Fans looking to head to Saturday’s show can grab a ticket here while those hoping to attend Sunday’s show can purchase a ticket here.
Concertgoers have been urged to download their tickets to your phone ahead of this weekend’s concerts – don’t wait until the day. Screenshots will not work as barcodes are live and updating regularly.
Support Acts
Dermot will be joined Amble and Aaron Rowe as special guests for his two landmark headline shows at the Aviva Stadium this weekend.
Having supported Lewis Capaldi, fast-rising Irish singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe’s summer included a Glastonbury debut, a mainstage slot at Electric Picnic, and standout performances supporting Ed Sheeran who he is supporting on his 2026 Australia, New Zealand, and North America Loop Tour.
Meanwhile Amble’s debut album, Reverie, topped the Irish Album Chart across four non-consecutive weeks. Their music has also clocked up over 115 million streams globally, and they sold over 100k tickets worldwide last year. Since forming in late 2022, Amble – Robbie Cunningham, Oisín McCaffrey, and Ross McNerney – have built a reputation for honest songwriting, lush acoustic arrangements and captivating live performances. Amble will also support Dermot Kennedy on his 2026 Europe and UK tour.

Stage times
The Aviva Stadium will start letting fans through turnstiles from 5pm on Friday and ticketholders have been warned that there is strictly no early queuing or camping permitted.
If patrons do turn up early, security and An Garda Siochana will be on patrol in advance and will turn away anyone arriving early at the venue who does not have an early entry ticket.
Ticketholders should take note that there are no re-admissions to the concert. If you leave, there is no re-entry.
Last entry into the venue is 9.30pm.
The night’s first support act, Aaron Rowe is scheduled to be on stage at 6pm, with Amble likely to kick off their set at around 7.30pm.
Dermot Kennedy is expected to take to the stage between 8.30pm and 9pm, with the event set to come to an end at around 10.45pm, but, as always, all times are subject to change.
Ticketholders have been urged to plan to be within the venue 45 mins before show start.

How to get to the Aviva Stadium
Concertgoers are urged to plan and book their return travel arrangements in advance, using official NTA licensed transport providers.
You should allow yourself at least an additional three hours travel time to and from the venue. As traffic delays are inevitable ticketholders are encouraged to walk, cycle, use public transport and private coach services.
BY DART: Nearest stations are Landsdowne Road or Grand Canal Dock. Note: After the concert Grand Canal Dock station will be closed. More info on Irish Rail.
BY BUS: The Aviva Stadium is also served by bus routes 4, 7/a, 39a, 46a, 145 and 155, each of which stop a short walk away from the venue. Bus timetables and more info on Dublin Bus.
BY TRAIN: Train times and information can be found at Irish Rail.
TAXI DROP-OFF: Suggested locations are Pembroke Road/Northumberland Road or Tritonville Road/Herbert Road depending on your approach route.
The venue is also easily accessible by foot within 30 minutes from St Stephen’s Green, or Luas stops Charlemont on the Green Line and Point Village on the Red Line.
Entrance routes and box offices
Concertgoers are advised to follow entrance routes, which are separated by the colour groups designated to every individual ticket.
If you still need to collect your tickets, box offices will open at 3pm on Herbert Road to the south-east, and at the junction between Lansdowne Road and Northumberland Road to the south-west of the stadium.
You must enter through whichever gate is detailed on your ticket. Your ticket background colour is your dedicated route.

Under 16’s must be accompanied at all times by a Parent/Guardian over 25, who takes full responsibility and remains with them throughout the event. It is recommended no under 5’s attend. The standing area is reserved for ages 14+ only. Strict age monitoring will be in place, and unaccompanied under 16’s will be refused entry without refund.

Security checks
Strict security checks will be in operation at the Aviva Stadium. All ticketholders will be subject to a search permissible under law, per Purchase Policy. Additional searches may take place once inside the venue.
Bags larger than A4, glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares, professional cameras and audio recording equipment will not be permitted into the venue.
Patrons are especially advised not to bring large bags/backpacks as they may experience delays or be refused entry. There will be no storage facilities on-site. Any items left at entrances / in surrounding areas will be removed and disposed of accordingly.
Due to health and safety, there are strictly no camping/collapsible chairs/ stools permitted in the venue. Concertgoers do not bring these items as security will have to refuse you entry with them.
Local residents, their immediate families, local business community will be facilitated at the barriers with proof of address. However proof of address does not guarantee entry through the cordon where high pedestrian volumes exist.
Gardai have said that during the hours of operation of the Garda Cordon, vehicles, bicycles, skips, bags, bins or any other items which are causing an obstruction or which may become a trip hazard will be relocated or removed.
