Defending solicitor, Mr Tom MacSharry, told the court his client does want to come to court with compensation.

Sgt Butler said there has to be reality in how a person of no fixed abode will be coming up with €2,300.

Judge Cunningham adjourned to November 20.

She said the sum is significant and if there is no reality of compensation, it was not going to delay the court further.
