Already a familiar voice to First Look listeners, Lauren will now have even more time to deliver an exclusive early peek as to how the week’s Official Singles Chart is shaping up, using the weekend’s sales and streaming data.

It’s the first chance to find out which songs are climbing, which are losing ground and, most importantly, who’s in the running for that coveted Number 1 spot.

Think of it as the warm-up to the main event, before the reveal of the only Official UK Top 40 every Friday from 4pm on The Official Chart with Jack Saunders on BBC Radio 1.
