Rosie O’Donnell, who moved to Ireland out of animus for President Donald Trump, has revealed that even her therapist is sick of her rants against the commander-in-chief.
Speaking on a podcast to MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace, O’Donnell wondered why people don’t feel her same sense of urgency against Trump.
“What he’s done now hasn’t even hit us yet,” O’Donnell said, per the Daily Mail.
“And if he’s not stopped now, we have lost our country,” the former co-host of “The View” said. “I don’t know, Nicolle, how it is that some people cannot see it.”
O’Donnell continued, “My therapist said, ‘Why are you so upset?’ And I said to her, ‘Why are you not?’”
Wallace said, “Yeah, I have that conversation too.”
O’Donnell has long been a critic of Trump. The president, in turn, threatened to revoke O’Donnell’s U.S. citizenship.”
O’Donnell told Wallace, “I encourage everyone to stand up, to use their voice, to protest, to demand that we follow the Constitution in our country and not a king and not a man, and we don’t have cruelty as part of our governing style.”
She said, “Protect your sanity as much as you can, and try not to swim in the chaos, if possible. But I know it’s nearly impossible when you’re there in the middle of it.”
O’Donnell last month accused ABC of sidelining “any program that doesn’t align with Trumpism.” The comment came before her former network temporarily took “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” off the air after a political controversy over the murder of Charlie Kirk.
O’Donnell also apologized recently after claiming that the shooter who killed two Minneapolis school children was a MAGA Republican.
