BERLIN – July 22 – Independent studio Ivy Juice Games announced its new title, PRESS: Authorized Disposal, as part of the Games Composed in Germany Showcase and Steam Event. The announcement trailer premiered alongside a wave of other homegrown titles spotlighting Germany’s growing game development scene, and it wasted no time finding an audience – the game has already crossed 2,200 wishlists on Steam in less than 48 hours.
PRESS: Authorized Disposal is a solo project by founder Linus and began, fittingly, as a distraction from another game entirely.
“The idea came to me on a train ride to a gaming weekend with my best friend,” said Linus, founder of Ivy Juice Games. “Instead of gaming all weekend, I ended up working on this game while he tried to finish Skyrim in one sitting. That was last December. Eight months later, the game got announced and we are already sitting at 2,200 wishlists in under 48 hours. This is incredible.”
Fans of tense, atmospheric indie hits like Clover Pit, Arctic Eggs, and Buckshot Roulette will find familiar DNA in PRESS: Authorized Disposal, which channels a similar spirit of unsettling, high-stakes gameplay wrapped in a distinct visual identity.
