An FS8 fitness studio has opened in Cumberland County.
FS8 stands for the eight functional styles that form the foundation of every workout: cardio, mobility, posture, coordination, resistance, mental health, balance, and flexibility, the company said.
The new boutique fitness studio combines Pilates and yoga concepts with functional strength training.
Mechanicsburg residents Tony and Amy Meadows opened FS8 Mechanicsburg at Silver Creek Plaza at 6391 Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township. A grand opening celebration was held on Saturday. Classes began on Sunday.
“One of the studio’s distinguishing features is its use of integrated screen technology,” the company said in a news release. “Large screens display each movement throughout class, allowing members to follow along with confidence while trainers focus on providing individualized coaching and support.”
