All of Ireland was cheering for Pico Lopes and Cape Verde at the World Cup, so it’s great to see he’s managed to fit in a little downtime now he’s back on the Emerald Isle.
Pico and his wife Leah, who share a baby son, recently enjoyed a staycation at a location that is the perfect escape for those looking to relax.
Sharing photos from their trip, Leah, who followed her husband around the US in a campervan, showed off the fabulous views and food they had soaked up.

As for the activities at Wineport Lodge in Co Westmeath, Leah and Pico got to unwind in the hot tubs on the floating pontoon and enjoy a lakeside sauna.
After all that relaxing, the Shamrock Rovers player and his wife were treated to a pre-dinner cruise before heading into the restaurant for a delicious dinner.
Leah looked gorgeous on their date night, wearing a cute khaki two-piece outfit which seems to be from PrettyLittleThing.

Her skirt looks like the brand’s Khaki Woven Frill Detail Cargo Skort, which is currently marked down to €18 in the sale, while her long-sleeved top looks just like the matching one online (€24).
Wineport Lodge also shared snaps from Leah and Pico’s stay, writing: ‘It was a pleasure to have @pico_lopes & Leah stay with us for some well-deserved rest after the World Cup.

Pico returned from the World Cup at the start of July and received a hero’s welcome as he touched down at Dublin Airport.

As well as being greeted by Leah and Diogo, Pico’s parents, Judy and Carlos, were also at the airport, with the pride on their faces clear as Pico returned home.
