There was one winner of last night’s Lotto jackpot worth over €8.2 million.
The winning numbers were 23, 24, 25, 42, 43, 46 and the bonus was 37.
It is the fourth jackpot winner of 2026, with the lucky winner taking home a total of €8,221,849.
Organisers have said the location of where the winning ticket was sold will be revealed in the coming days.
They have encouraged players who bought a ticket for last night’s draw to check them, as in addition to the jackpot win, 3 other players took hoe just shy of €90,000 each.
The win comes after the National Lottery last week announced changes due to come into effect later this year, which will see two numbers dropped.
It will be the game’s first update in eight years.
The National Lottery said the number of balls will be reduced from 47 to 45 in each Lotto draw.
This means that the odds of winning the jackpot or top prize will improve from 1 in 10.7 million to 1 in 8.1 million.
