The Aodh Ruadh senior ladies are among sixty teams that will participate in the O’Neills All-Ireland Club 7-a-side competitions, to be played at the Naomh Mearnóg club in Dublin next Saturday August 1.
The clubs attending will compete for the Senior, Intermediate and Junior prizes on offer, on the eve of TG4 All-Ireland Finals day.
O’Neills were unveiled as official sponsors of the LGFA’s All-Ireland Club 7s competitions in 2024, a development which further strengthened the long-standing relationship between the LGFA and O’Neills, who are kit manufacturers for many leading inter-county and club teams.
Next Sunday at Croke Park, TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship finalists Kerry will wear O’Neills kit as they aim a second Brendan Martin Cup win in three seasons.
There was huge interest once again in the 2026 O’Neills All-Ireland Club 7s, and Aodh Ruadh will compete in the senior section.
Senior champions Donaghmoyne (Monaghan) are back to defend their title but they’ll face stiff opposition from a number of teams, including 2025 AIB All-Ireland Senior club finalists St Ergnat’s, Moneyglass (Antrim).
