A Tralee company is set to exceed €150 million in client assets under management following the acquisition of another financial advisory business in the town.

Reen Financial Services has acquired Eoin Liston Financial Services Ltd.

They say this acquisition has created one of Kerry’s largest independent advisory businesses.

Reen Financial Services says this acquisition of Eoin Liston Financial Services Ltd marks a significant step in the company’s growth strategy and further strengthens its presence across Kerry and Munster.

John Reen and Eoin Liston have worked within the Kerry financial services sector for many years and they say they share a common commitment to client-focused advice and long-term financial planning.

As part of his own succession planning, Eoin sought a long-term home for his clients, and he’ll remain with the business as director, while Conor Liston continues as administrator, which they say will ensure a seamless transition for all clients.

Eoin Liston says Reen Financial Services was the obvious choice for the future of the business, saying the values and the team were the right fit.

John Reen, managing director of Reen Financial Services, says when the opportunity came to join forces with Eoin, it was a straightforward decision.

He says they are creating something genuinely significant for Kerry – a locally owned, independently minded firm with the scale and expertise to compete with anyone, and the roots to stay.

The say this acquisition will mean that clients will benefit from the increased scale, expertise and resources of the combined organisation.

The combined team consists of: John Reen (Managing Director), John Reen Snr (Senior Financial Adviser), Eugene Cosgrave (Senior Financial Adviser), Tracey Hussey Leen (Administrator), Eoin Liston (Director), Conor Liston (Administrator), Seán Walsh (Commercial Insurance Executive), Daire Dineen (Commercial Insurance Executive), Michelle O’Connor (Personal Lines Insurance Executive), and Nuala Hinchy (Accounts and Compliance Assistant).
