The Donegal man has taken to his weekend presenting role on Ireland AM like a duck to water since joining the crew in September, but a job on one of the nation’s biggest TV programmes doesn’t stop him from being humbled by his Irish Mammy!

Eric, who shares a little boy, Rían, with his wife Niamh, shared a hilarious text he received from his mother Frances while filming the show over the weekend.
The 35 year old posted a snap of himself smiling with the caption: ‘The cute messages my mum sends me while I’m on TV’.
