Passed peacefully, at Athlunkard Nursing Home, on July 28th 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Very deeply regretted by his sisters Ann, Geraldine and Angela, brothers Noel, Christy and Eddie, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Thursday, July 30th, from 4pm to 5pm.
Funeral Service will take place Friday, July 31st, in Shannon Crematorium at 4pm.
Gerard’s Funeral cortege will pass the family home in Claughaun Avenue, Garryowen at 3pm on Friday to enable neighbours and friends to pay their respects.
