Gum Litter Task Force Roadshow coming to towns across Ireland

The Gum Litter Task Force is hitting the road this summer, bringing a series of fun, interactive roadshows to communities across Ireland to raise awareness of the impact of gum litter.

Running from July through to September, the nationwide roadshow will visit towns and cities across the country, giving people the chance to get involved in a fun day out while learning more about keeping our streets clean.

Visitors can take part in an exciting interactive game hosted by Brand Ambassadors, who will be on hand throughout the day to get people involved and answer any questions.

There are also some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including One4All vouchers, along with a range of promotional giveaways throughout the day.

As well as the fun, the roadshows aim to remind people of the importance of disposing of chewing gum responsibly.

Gum litter remains one of the most common forms of litter found on Irish streets, and dropping chewing gum can result in an on-the-spot fine of €150.

The Gum Litter Task Force team will also be handing out free gum wraps, high-visibility jackets and other giveaways, while chatting with members of the public about the small actions that can make a big difference in reducing gum litter.
