Supermodel Elsa Hosk has appeared on countless magazine covers, from Vogue to Harper’s Bazaar, and has walked for some of the biggest names in the fashion industry (Gucci, Christian Dior and Balmain, to name a few). However, the model-turned-creative-director, designer and entrepreneur has taken on a slew of new projects—and, in many ways, she’s still getting started. In 2022, she launched her fashion label, Helsa, with most drops selling out immediately. The garments are inspired by her formative years in Sweden, where she developed a deep appreciation for art, nature and minimalism. She is also a global brand ambassador for SunSolveMD and has collaborated with brands such as Business & Pleasure Co., Montce Swim and Erewhon.

With so many projects on her plate, Hosk stays grounded through simple rituals, mindfulness and plenty of time outside. Below, she shares her everyday essentials and most treasured gifts.

Elsa Hosk’s Favorite Things
Hostess Gift She Brings To Someone’s House

“I usually bring something simple but thoughtful—beautiful candles, fresh flowers or a linen napkin set. I love gifts that feel useful but still special. It’s always nice to bring something that can be enjoyed during the gathering or long after it’s over. Lately, it has been Flamingo Estate’s Prinsesstårta Candle or The Soap Opera Kit; they always feel like such a treat.”

Investment Piece She’s Been Eyeing

“I’m a big furniture collector, and right now I’ve been looking for a primitive stone coffee table—something heavy and timeless that really anchors a space. I also love collecting small vintage objects, like this vase from The Oblist.”

Book That Creatively Inspires Her

“I love looking through architecture books. They’re always inspiring to me in a very visual way and influence how I think about space, proportion and mood. They often spark new ideas and help me to approach design with a more intentional perspective. I’ve been especially drawn to Art Deco Complete recently.”

Beauty Product That Makes Her Feel Powerful

“Anything that makes my skin feel healthy and glowy. I always have my SunSolveMD SPF with me, especially the Firm + Replenish SPF 50 and Balance + Clear SPF 50. They protect my skin while giving a really natural, luminous finish. I always finish with a simple lip combination to pull everything together. It’s a routine that feels effortless yet elevated.”

Item That Has Improved Her Daily Life

“Living in Los Angeles, our outdoor space has become such a big part of our routine. Our pool, along with our loungers and umbrellas from my collection with Business & Pleasure Co., has made everything feel more relaxed and easy. We end up spending most of our time there.”

Favorite Thing On Her Desk

“I like having little vintage objects around me. Books, references, fabrics, things I’ve collected over time. It keeps me inspired visually. Each piece has its own story, adding a personal, layered feel to my space. But I always come back to my sketchbook from Paper Republic and pencils.”

Wellness Product She Can’t Live Without

“I love simple rituals—a good bath, oils and hydrating lotions. Taking time to slow down and reset is really important to me. Creating that space to unwind helps me recharge and feel more grounded as I head into a new week. I’ve been loving Salt & Stone bath products recently, like the body wash.”
