Gardai attended the scene of a road traffic collision along the M6 motorway in east Co Galway this afternoon Friday 31 July 2026.
The incident occurred after 3pm on Friday 31 July with Gardaí rushing to the scene and closing a lane to traffic. Th
Galway Beo understands the incident involved two vehicles, one of which is understood to be a lorry.
Gardaí are currently diverting traffic through Loughrea off the affected section of motorway. The route has since reopened and the diversion is no longer in place.
