The death has occurred of Bridget (Bríd) Keane St. John’s Terrace, Henry Street, Galway City, Galway.
Bríd is the beloved daughter of the late Bartley and Helen (Nellie) and much-loved sister of Eileen (Scanlon), Fr. Brendan, Eamonn, and the late Maureen and Michael John.
Bríd died in the wonderful care of the staff at the Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe on Thursday evening, 30th July 2026.
Deeply loved and mourned by her sister and brothers, brother-in-law Patrick and sister in-law Pat, nieces Maria, Eibhlín, Maedhbh, Vivian, Fionnuala, Catherine, Mary and Fiona, nephews Tom and Gerald, grand nephews and grand nieces, the extended family and friends.

Bríd will lie in Repose at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Monday, 3rd August 2026
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bríd at the St. Ignatius’ Jesuit Church, Sea Road at 10 a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Aware.
