Reports about the actor’s alleged remuneration for the mythological epic have drawn attention, with claims that he could be earning Rs 10 crore to play Lord Ram’s younger brother. However, the reported fee has not been officially confirmed by Ravie Dubey or the makers of the film.

However, there has been no official confirmation from Ravie Dubey, producer Namit Malhotra or director Nitesh Tiwari regarding the actor’s remuneration.

Earlier reports about the fees of Ramayana’s cast have also created significant buzz, with several figures being reported for actors including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol. 

Who Is Ravie Dubey Playing In Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana?

Ravie Dubey will portray Lakshman, the devoted younger brother of Lord Ram. The actor confirmed his association with the project after keeping his role under wraps for a long time.

Speaking about his casting, Ravie revealed that he had kept details private because he did not want to reveal anything before the makers’ official announcement. He also described playing Lakshman as a role filled with responsibility and honour. 

In the epic, Lakshman is known for his unwavering devotion towards Lord Ram and accompanies him during his 14-year exile along with Sita. The character remains one of the most important figures in the Ramayana narrative.

Ramayana Cast Fees

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana features a star-studded ensemble which includes Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, Yash as Ravana and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. 

As per reports, Ranbir is said to be the highest-paid actor in the franchise, with claims suggesting that he will earn around Rs 150 crore for portraying Lord Rama across both films.

Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi, who plays Goddess Sita, is reportedly charging around Rs 6 crore per film, taking her total reported fee for both instalments to approximately Rs 12 crore.

Sunny Deol, who will essay the role of Lord Hanuman, is reportedly receiving around Rs 20 crore per film, bringing his reported total remuneration to Rs 40 crore for the two-part saga. 

Headlined by Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Yash as Ravana, Ramayana is being produced by Namit Malhotra and Yash and is reportedly mounted on a massive budget of around Rs 4,000 crore. The two-part epic is expected to be one of the biggest Indian film projects ever made.
