Maria O’Neill’s injury-time scored earned Antrim a dramatic victory over Carlow in the TG4 All-Ireland Junior Football Championship final.
Antrim claimed a record-equalling fourth TG4 All-Ireland Junior Football Championship title after edging Carlow by 1-13 to 2-09 in a dramatic final at Croke Park.
The Saffrons made the perfect start with an early Theresa Mellon goal, but Carlow battled back and briefly led in the second half after Aibha Kiernan found the net.
Substitute Megan Townsend then struck a late goal to level the game.
However, with just seconds remaining, Maria O’Neill kicked the winning point to seal a memorable victory for Antrim.
