Ger Treacy was at the Women’s All-Ireland SFC final at Croke Park as Galway claimed a historic win over Kerry

Ger Treacy has posted some lovely photographs from her visit to Croke Park alongside her husband Bernard and their daughter Kitty.
Kerry and Galway went head to head on Sunday in the All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football final, which ended in a nail-biting last ten minutes, with Galway triumphing by 2-07 to 0-12 over Kerry.
Standout Galway player Eva Noone would end up securing the win, with her match-winning point one for the history books, as this was the county’s first win since 2004.
Virgin Media Ireland star Ger and her family were thrilled by the victory, with Kitty captured dancing in jubilation, reports RSVP Live.
It was sport that initially united Ger and Bernard, as both were working in television and broadcasting when romance blossomed. The couple first crossed paths while employed at Dublin radio station FM104.
They tied the knot in July 2016 surrounded by loved ones at St. Joseph’s Church, Mallydams in Co. Laois.
The broadcasting pair would go on to welcome their first child, Kitty, in 2021, who enjoyed an excellent vantage point for Sunday’s final.
