Drugs worth an estimated €8.5 million have been seized following searches in counties Meath and Louth.
The searches were carried out in a number of locations yesterday, after a car was stopped as part of an intelligence-led investigation in Co Meath.
During their searches, suspected cocaine and cannabis were found by gardaí.
The drugs have been sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Two men, aged in their 30s and 40s, have been arrested as part of the investigation.
