The exhibition features the artist’s distinctive oil paintings, which combine figurative art, pop culture influences and layered visual illusions.
Works are displayed throughout the hotel’s iconic staircase and The Salon Bar, transforming the venue into an evolving gallery space.
Known for his vibrant use of colour, McAlpine Miller’s paintings often feature striking female figures, including the late singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse, alongside nostalgic imagery and bold contemporary references.

The exhibition forms part of Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel’s rotating artist programme, which showcases both emerging and established Scottish artists.
The initiative aims to celebrate Scotland’s creative talent while giving guests and visitors the opportunity to experience art in a unique setting.
The exhibition is now open, with enquiries available through the hotel’s reception team.
