Coronation Street spoilers follow from Tuesday’s episode (11 August), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet.
In tonight’s Coronation Street, Tim is left to pick up the pieces after his cousin Richie is arrested.
Meanwhile, Sarah’s crime continues to have major repercussions for Gary, Maria and Kit.

1. Lisa breaks some big news
ITV
Tim and Sally have been up all night following the disturbing events at Richie’s place. Lisa pays a visit to the Metcalfe house on official police business, confirming that Richie has been charged with the murder of his wife Rachel. Meanwhile, the couple’s daughter Lucy has been taken into care.
As Richie insists that he acted in self-defence, Tim points out that he did seem genuinely scared of his wife.
2. Tracy makes cruel remarks

When word of Richie’s arrest reaches the Rovers, Tracy can’t resist gossiping about the situation.
Tracy suggests there could be something in the Metcalfe family genes since Geoff was also an abusive partner, but Tim is deeply hurt when he overhears her nasty comments and everyone jumps to his defence.
3. Tim blames himself
ITV
Devastated by Richie’s actions and all the gossip, Tim ends up drowning his sorrows at Victoria Garden alongside an unlikely drinking companion – Kit.
Later, Tim glumly tells Sally that he blames himself for what happened, as he encouraged Richie to return home rather than keeping his distance from Rachel.
4. Gary and Maria deliver some bad news

Gary and Maria are forced to break the news to Liam and Jake that their much-hyped family holiday to Florida has been cancelled.
The ongoing police investigation now makes it impossible for them to get away – and the lads are upset after being so badly let down by Gary.
5. Jodie sets her sights on Kit
ITV
Jodie spots Kit downing vodka at the Bistro and is intrigued to learn that Sarah has dumped him.
Kit repeatedly gives Jodie short shrift, but is it only a matter of time before he plays into her hands?
6. Idris turns threatening to get what he wants
ITV
Alya happily shows potential buyer Gavin around Speed Daal, as she looks to sell her share of the business.
Gavin reckons it looks like a brilliant investment, but Idris seizes a chance to get him alone and makes a veiled threat, warning that the deal wouldn’t end well. When Gavin pulls out and Leanne figures out that Idris intervened, will she be concerned or impressed?
