Looks like the Huawei Mate 90 series launch date mystery has been resolved to some extent, as a new input says the flagship will possibly debut on September 23. The latest piece of information aligns with previous “release time” rumors of the device.
SuperDimensional on Weibo revealed that Huawei has tentatively scheduled the Mate 90 series launch for September 23. The time matches previously leaked details.
The tipster shared an image of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China’s website. It hints at a launch conference entitled “Entertainment Performance at Huawei Device Haco launch event”.
As per the official site, this event will happen in Bao’an District, Guangdong Province, on September 23 at Hall 20 of Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center.

Following the details, the tipster speculated that the new event will probably take place for the Mate 90 series launch. He further mentioned that Haco in the event’s title is a codename, where “Ha” stands for Huawei and “co” stands for Conference.
Huawei has suggested that the Mate 90 series will debut this fall while introducing the Tau Scaling Law and LogicFolding design concept for Kirin 2026 chips.
Later, some tipsters pointed out that the Chinese tech giant could unveil the top-tier smartphone lineup in September alongside the Mate XT 2 triple-foldable.
Adding more details, leaks reported that Huawei can hold dual launch events next month, where the first half of September will showcase the tri-fold and the second half will bring the Mate 90 series smartphones on stage.
