NBC has revealed the cast for the first-ever all-civilian season of “The Traitors: New Blood.”

On Aug. 12, the network shared the 22 reality television newbies who fans will see move into the mysterious Scottish Highlands castle and compete to win up to $250,000. The cast list also featured the unveiling of each contestant’s mischievous headshot, a tease of their portraits that will hang in the breakfast room. That is until they are either murdered or banished and host Alan Cumming playfully discards them.

The 22 competitors were hand-selected from over 80,000 applicants, NBC said in a press release. They will usher in a new era for the U.S. version of the franchise, which has only featured celebrity contestants in the four seasons currently streaming on Peacock.

Viewers can see the players compete when the first two episodes of “The Traitors: New Blood” air on Thursday, Sept. 17 on NBC at 8 p.m ET/PT. The episodes will be part of a special two-hour extended premiere. They will also be available to stream the next day on Peacock.

New episodes will continue to arrive every Thursday at the same time on the network.
