Yamaichi Electronics is expanding its portfolio of T-Series metallic push-pull circular connectors with a new 90° PCB socket (WE). The right-angled PCB solution has been specially developed for applications requiring a space-saving design, high reliability and easy PCB integration. The new socket is available for all sizes in the T-Series – sizes 09, 12, 15 and 18 – and enables direct 90° mounting on the printed circuit board. This makes it easier to design compact devices without compromising on electrical or mechanical performance.
Robust connection
The new 90° PCB socket features printed contacts and achieves an IP68 protection rating when mated. A permanently integrated flange design with an O-ring seal ensures a reliable seal against dust and water, making this connector solution ideal for industrial applications, automation technology, and measurement and test systems.
Wide range of variants
To meet a wide range of design requirements, Yamaichi Electronics offers various connection and mounting options. Customers can choose between harpoon pins, screw mounting or solder pins. Furthermore, the new socket is available in different sizes and with various numbers of pins. With the launch of the angled PCB socket, Yamaichi Electronics is expanding its T-Series to include a solution that is not currently available in this form in comparable connector systems from other manufacturers. This gives developers greater design freedom when creating compact and robust devices.
