Claremorris given go-ahead for New McDonald’s drive-thru

A second McDonald’s restaurant for County Mayo has been given planning permission by Mayo County Council.

The new drive-thru is planned for the Knock Road in Claremorris, beside the Silverbridge Plaza Shopping Centre.

The application had been delayed following objections from residents and requests for further information from the council.

Plans were amended to include a two-lane system at the drive-thru, following concerns about traffic and access to the shopping centre.

Planning permission has now been granted subject to 13 conditions.
