This City Is Ours has dropped a new look at its second season, with a fresh glimpse at Shaun Evans among others. The Endeavour star is joining the crime drama as a former gangster called Ozzie Thompson, and was previously spotted in filming pictures.
An official look has now been unveiled alongside fellow new addition Álvaro Morte (Money Heist) as Ricardo’s younger brother and Colombian cartel member Felipe Guzmán, his sibling being killed off in season one.
The new collection of stills also shows returning cast members James Nelson-Joyce as Michael Kavanagh, Hannah Onslow as Diana Williams, Jack McMullen as Jamie Phelan, Mike Noble as Banksey, Julie Graham as Elaine Phelan and Laura Aikman as Rachel Duffy.

Additionally, there’s Kevin Harvey as Bobby Duffy, Saoirse-Monica Jackson as Cheryl Crawford, Darci Shaw as Melissa Sullivan, Adam Abbou as Freddie and Bobby Schofield as Bonehead.
A teaser for season two dropped back in June, and although brief did give a look at returning characters Michael and Diana.
The Liverpool-set drama focuses on a power struggle in a gang led by Sean Bean’s Ronnie Phelan – who was killed off in the last season.
The new episodes pick up from where things were left, as “Michael and Diana have barely arrived in Spain when they are dragged back into the fold to answer questions around Ricardo’s death”.

“Back in Liverpool, tensions continue to bubble amongst the remaining members of the gang,” the synopsis adds. “Meanwhile, an old school gangster from Ronnie’s era, recently out of prison, wants compensation from the firm.”
The show comes from Stephen Butchard, with the new season expected to air in the autumn.
