The Texas Radio Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2026, with 20 radio professionals selected for induction, including the first honorees in the organization’s new “Small Markets/Big Voices” category. The class will be inducted Nov. 7 during the Texas Radio Hall of Fame’s annual ceremony at the Texas Broadcast Museum in Kilgore, TX.
The 2026 class was selected by voting members of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. Honorees include Doug Abernethy; Brenda Adriance-Fox; “Lisa Lisa” Bonnani; Bruce Buchanon; Jay Creswell; Dave E. Crockett; Diane Day; Anna De Haro; Paris Eley; Jimmy “JD” Gonzalez; Jojo & Patches; Joyce King; Kevin Kline; Eric Raines; Clyde “Kooter” Roberson; Chrissie Roberts; JD Rose; Dr. J. Thomas Smith; Pam Wells; and Barry Wolverton.
The organization also will formally induct Jerry and Wanda Hanszen, who were recognized when the “Small Markets/Big Voices” category was introduced during the 2025 ceremony.
The 2026 ceremony also will include the posthumous induction of five heritage broadcasters as Lone Star Legacies. The category was introduced in 2025 to recognize influential Texas broadcasters who have died. This year’s Lone Star Legacy honorees are David Anderson, Frank Hicks, Mona Parker, Jack Sellmeyer and Ted Stecker.
All 2026 inductees will be honored during the Nov. 7 ceremony at the Texas Broadcast Museum in Kilgore.
