In tonight’s Coronation Street, newcomer Lucy gives her version of events after the shocking murder that has torn her family apart. What will Tim make of it all?
Meanwhile, Sarah makes a new friend in prison – but she could be trusting the wrong person.

1. Lucy defends Richie

Lucy’s arrival at the Metcalfe house takes an unsettling turn when she suffers a nightmare and starts sleepwalking, before waking in complete terror.
When Lucy later hears Brody gossiping about her mum’s murder, she tries to defend Richie by claiming that Rachel attacked him first and he was acting in self-defence.
Lucy reckons that Rachel had repeatedly attacked Richie over the years and made his life a misery in the family home, but can her version of events be trusted?
2. Jodie’s left injured in a clash with Lucy

Lily tries to introduce herself to Lucy, but the girls get off on the wrong foot and Lucy takes things to extremes by going on the attack. When Jodie rushes over to break things up, Lucy lashes out and cuts Jodie’s arms.
Jodie is quick to complain to Sally about Lucy’s violent actions, but Sally chooses to believe that her new foster child was the victim in the situation. Will this prove to be a mistake?
3. Sarah puts her faith in Kacey

Sarah is relieved when fellow inmate Kacey makes an effort to befriend her in prison, promising to look out for her. Kacey also notes that Sarah’s partner is a police detective, but Sarah points out that she’s no longer with Kit so the connection shouldn’t prove to be a problem behind bars.
When Bethany visits Sarah, she’s suspicious as she spots Kacey glaring at them. Sarah refuses to believe that her new pal could be a problem, but Bethany isn’t so sure.
4. The local residents team up

Brian calls a meeting with some of the residents and suggests that they should form a local traders association to better support each other during these difficult economic times.
Will Kirk, Dev, Tracy, Maggie, Rita and Steve be interested in the idea?
5. Idris comes forward as a buyer for Speed Daal
ITV
Idris is finally honest with Alya about how he’d like to buy her share of Speed Daal – but he’s only offering £35,000, which is £15,000 short of the asking price.
Clearly taken aback by Idris’s interest, Alya insists she needs time to think about it.
