Join The Céadaoin Collective on the penultimate night of their inaugural Irish tour in Tuar Ard Arts Centre, Moate, with support from local artist Keeve.
This exciting new ensemble explores contemporary folk & traditional Irish music alongside a range of other musical influences, with a line up comprising critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Emma O’Reilly; Irish flautist & seven time All Ireland champion Robert Harvey; award-winning composer & vocalist Carmel Whelan; multi instrumentalist Andrew Yau; and violin & piano player Niall Mannion.
Each member of the group brings their own unique musical experience & perspective, which in turn merge together to form Céadaoin Collective’s signature sound.
The setlist on the night will feature music from Emma’s highly anticipated new EP “Sailing Home”, alongside new songs and compositions from Carmel, selections of traditional tunes from Robert (including lilting & whistling), and contemporary folk arrangements from Andrew.
