EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa may have landed herself in trouble with soap bosses, after seemingly leaking a big spoiler. The actor, who plays Lauren Branning, shared a photo from the set of the BBC soap on social media, with fans noticing one surprising detail.
The picture was taken from a height, featuring the sunny skyline above Walford. But the shot also included the Slater house, which had a ‘for sale’ sign prominently displayed outside.

Recent episodes of the soap have seen landlord Suki Panesar-Unwin complaining that her tenants, the Slaters, are months behind on their rent. Despite her wife Eve’s connection to the family, Suki made it clear to Jean Slater that her patience was wearing thin.
With Stacey abroad, viewers know that Jean has been struggling to make ends meet, and she has even considered secretly sub-letting a room in the house. But after Lily’s recent trouble with the police, her focus has been on keeping her granddaughter out of prison.
Could the ‘for sale’ sign indicate that the popular family are being evicted from their home in the coming weeks? And where exactly will they go if the speculation proves to be warranted?
EastEnders declined to comment after being approached by Digital Spy.
Meanwhile, across the Square, some of the residents of The Queen Vic will also be making an exit, including Zoe Slater after her surprise return last year. Actor Michelle Ryan will be permanently departing the soap later this year, with Zoe reportedly being killed off.

Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Moon, will be taking a break to star in a festive production of Peter Pan. She will play Captain Hook in the pantomime between December and January – though her break won’t interfere with filming on the soap.
Her on-screen husband Shane Richie, who plays Alfie Moon, is also taking a break from East London to appear as Muddles in a production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
