Six wicket loss sees Ireland swept by Afghanistan

Afghanistan rounded off their ODI series against Ireland with a six wickets victory to secure a 4-0 series win.

A brilliant century from Rahmat Shah ensured a whitewash victory at Stormont following a tense finish.

The visiting side were almost down to their final over chasing a target of 298 set for them by Ireland.

But Rahmat, whose total of 143 was the difference, ensured victory for the visitors and a comprehensive series win.

They had made sure of triumphing in the series by thrashing their hosts by 42 runs on Wednesday.
