An investigation is under way after a man’s body was discovered at a property in Co Cavan at the weekend.
The man, who was in his 60s, was found dead at the property in Ballyjamesduff on Saturday.
His body was removed to Our Lady’s Hospital Navan, where a post-mortem examination was carried out.
Gardaí said the results are not being released for operational reasons. An incident room has been set up at Bailieborough Garda Station and a Senior Investigating Officer has been appointed to lead the investigation.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
They are asking any road users or pedestrians who were in the area of the Kilmore Estate between 6pm and midnight on Saturday, and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), to contact Bailieborough Garda Station on 042 969 4570, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
