Sarah Platt takes desperate action on Coronation Street next week to save her son Harry’s life, with the fan-favourite character making a lethal weapon as she strikes back at her prison blackmailer!
With fellow inmate Kacey threatening Sarah in order to gain Kit’s help, the desperate mum readies herself for revenge after her bully threatens to hurt Harry. But will Sarah cross that fatal line and attack?

“Sarah’s already proved she’ll kill for those she loves,” begins our Weatherfield source. “This is a desperate move that could add years to her sentence, but she needs to show she’s not to be messed with. It’s survive or die in there, and Sarah is learning the hard way…”
Sarah’s time in prison is getting worse by the day, with Kacey’s threats and violence making her life a living hell. Furthermore, her relationship with Kit is in tatters, and she now feels as though she’s abandoned her son.
Knowing that Kit is struggling to cope on the outside, Sarah’s concern turns to Harry’s welfare. But despite Bethany trying to reassure her that everything is okay, a guilty Sarah is heartbroken for her boy.
When Kacey enters Sarah’s cell, she finds the locked-up mum in floods of tears, but she’s not there to offer sympathy. Sarah soon goes cold with dread when Kacey asks a simple question, as it becomes apparent that she knows Harry’s name.
“Sarah hoped Kacey’s threats were empty,” explains our insider. “She thought that as long as Harry was being well looked after at home, then he’d be able to cope without her. Now that she knows that Kacey has influence on the outside, Harry’s in real danger!”
Back on the cobbles, Sarah’s oblivious family do their best to pretend that everything’s normal. Bethany is concerned when she finds blood on Kit’s shirt, while Alya and Adam take Harry to a new friend’s house – but they are unaware of the danger that lurks…

A shaken Sarah finds that her treasured photo of Harry has been vandalised, but her terror increases when Kacey shows her recent photos of Harry at his new friend’s house. In a panic, Sarah calls Adam, warning him about the threats on Harry’s life!
Terrified for her son’s safety, Sarah must come up with her own ruthless way of dealing with Kacey…
“Sarah makes a weapon,” confirms our source. “She stuffs stolen pool balls into a sock, and approaches Kacey’s cell! Will she get her revenge and attack Kacey? Or will she come to her senses and find a smarter way to get payback?”
