Late of Clondalkin, Drimnagh and formerly of O’Curry Street, Limerick.
Passed peacefully on the 20th August 2026, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff on Beech Ward in Connolly Hospital.
Beloved Husband of the late Eileen, adored dad of Audrey, Philip and Robert and cherished granddad of his loving grandchildren Sophie, Ali, Charlie and Jack.
Gerry will be forever loved and deeply missed by his heartbroken children, grandchildren, son-in-law Simon and daughters-in-law Mary and Elaine, brothers Johnny and Thomas, sister Elizabeth, all his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village on Sunday (23rd August) from 2pm until 4pm.
Funeral Mass on Monday (24th August) at 11am in Church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Fatima, Rialto followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium due at 1pm.
