Jason Corbett’s two children have reacted to the news that their father’s killer and their former stepmother, Molly Martens, is expecting her first child, 11 years after his death.
Irish dad Jason was killed at his home in North Carolina in 2015, with his children, Jack and Sarah, returning to live in Ireland weeks later.
Both Jack and Sarah have spoken publicly about their childhoods, and both took part in the Netflix show A Deadly American Marriage in 2025.

On Friday, photos emerged of Molly holding a hand on her growing bump, with reports suggesting she’s due to welcome her first child in November.
Since leaving prison in June 2024 following an appeal, Molly has largely stayed out of the spotlight, but she has met a new partner and started building a new life.
In the hours after the pictures emerged on Friday, Sarah, 19, reacted to the news with a short statement on social media.

Sharing one of the images of Molly, she said: ‘Both Jack and I have spoken publicly, and before the court, about the coercive control, manipulation and abuse we experienced as children.
‘I have spent years trying to understand and find words for what we experienced, and I can’t separate this news from that history.’
Jack, 21, also shared a statement with the Daily Mail, saying that he can ‘only hope that this child is safe and that if concerns are raised, they are listened to and acted upon.’
He added: ‘I have zero interest in Molly Martens’ life. But where there is a child involved – I can only hope they are born healthy and grow up safe, protected from ever experiencing the kind of harm Sarah and I lived through.

‘… I am still recovering, 11 years on, from the abuse my sister and I endured for years. It broke me. I will never fully heal.’
The news of Molly’s pregnancy comes just two weeks after the Corbett family marked 11 years without Jason.
Sharing a tribute on the anniversary, his family said: ‘His absence is felt deeply every single day, but his presence is still found in every milestone, every laugh, and every quiet moment. Jason’s greatest legacy lives on beautifully in Jack and Sarah.
‘He would be so incredibly proud of the courageous, kind and resilient young adults they have grown to be. They carry his strength, his spirit and his smile with them every single step of the way.’
