Donegal Masters gaelic footballers are back in the All-Ireland Tier 1 final following Saturday’s 1-6 to 0-7 win over Kerry in their semi-final, played in Claregalway.
Donegal, who were beaten finalists last year, are aiming to go one step further in 2026.
They will now play Dublin for the Dr Mick Loftus Cup (date to be finalised) after the Dubs beat Waterford decisively in Saturday’s other semi-final.
The final will be a repeat of the 2019 decider, played in Ballyleague, Co Roscommon, which Donegal won.
Elsewhere, in the Tier 3 All-Ireland Plate semi-final in Castlefin, there was disappointment for Sligo as they lost out to Derry on a final scoreline of 3-13 to 2-11.
