Thousands of homes without power in Donegal
Thousands of homes in Donegal are currently without power as the red weather warning comes into force.
In the Glenties area, 2,072 properties have lost power with a further 2,073 properties impacted in Laghey.
In Derrybeg, 2,640 properties are without power, while 1,074 properties are affected in Dungloe.
In Creeslough, 321 properties are affected while 489 properties are out in Killybegs.
557 premises are without power in Ballyshannon while over 3,500 properties are also impacted in the Stranorlar area.
Properties in Convoy (856), Newtowncunningham (1,320), Milford (2,757) and Donegal Town (55).
A spokesperson for ESB said, “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
