Two years ago, the second season of Colin from Accounts ended on a major cliffhanger, with Patrick Brammall’s Gordon awkwardly proposing to Harriet Dyer’s Ashley while on the dancefloor at their friend’s wedding.
Now, fans in the UK will finally get to see if their relationship can come back from that, as the BBC release date for season 3 has been confirmed.
Colin from Accounts will officially debut on Monday 7 September at 10pm on BBC Two, with the second episode airing a day later at the same time.
Meanwhile, in a bonus for fans who can’t wait to watch it all, the full season will be available as a box set on BBC iPlayer from Monday 7 September.

Season 3 picks up a couple of years after Gordon’s failed proposal, and will see the couple trying to decide whether to stay together, or whether their dog, Colin, is the only thing binding them.
This will be the final season of Colin from Accounts, with Brammall and Dyer, who are also a married couple, and the show’s creators, having said in a statement that “creatively it feels like the right time to say goodbye.”
They continued: “We loved everything about making this show. From writing all 24 episodes and producing with our amazing partners at Easy Tiger, to acting on set with our brilliant cast and spunky crew, to sitting in the edit with our wonderful post team where we are currently wrapping things up.

“We’re going to miss making this show terribly, but we hope you love season 3 as much as we do. Thank you for watching, it means the world.”
Season 3 will be arriving on the same day that the final episode airs in Australia.
Colin from Accounts season 3 will arrive on BBC iPlayer on Monday 7 September, and will air on BBC Two from 10pm that day.
