Lorraine Keane has found herself among those battling the elements after a disastrous experience with her tent at Electric Picnic.
Like thousands of others, Lorraine made the trek to Stradbally in the pouring rain on Friday and was looking forward to a fun-filled weekend of music.
When she arrived, she gave music fans a peek inside her ‘cute’ Glamping tent, which looked like a fab place to spend the weekend, but she quickly discovered a major problem!

‘So much for my excitement to get here, the beds are actually wet, the pillows are wet, the duvets are wet, the mattresses are actually drenched,’ Lorraine, who recently sold her Monkstown home, said.
‘You could actually get really sick if you stayed in that, so I don’t know what we’re going to do.’
She and her other half, Peter, flagged the issue and went off to enjoy the festival, but they were more upset when they returned to their tent later that night.

‘It’s a quarter to one, we just got back to the tent, and the beds are still ringing wet, mattresses, duvets, pillows, the works.’
She was understandably fed up with the prospect of sleeping on a wet mattress. When they checked out the situation with staff, they were told that they were next on the list to be sorted out, but there was more drama to come.
In a further update, Lorraine shared that the two young guys had tried to tell them that one bed was more soaked than the other two, and only replaced one of the beds.

She acknowledged that the staff members were under fire and working a long day, but ‘none of us wants to be here in this situation’.
‘It’s s**t for them, it’s s**t for us, and now the whole experience is just horrible for all of us,’ she said. Hopefully things improve for the rest of the weekend!
