Fontaines D.C. will play Slane Castle on Saturday 26 June 2027, with Hayley Williams and Damien Dempsey among the special guests.

The Slane show was confirmed on Monday morning, following a teaser at the end of their Electric Picnic headline set on Sunday night.

Madra Salach will also appear on the bill, with further special guests to be announced.

Tickets for the concert go on sale this Thursday, 3 September, at 10am.

Confirmation came just hours after Fontaines D.C. brought Electric Picnic to a close in Stradbally.

As their Main Stage set ended on Sunday night, an image pointing to Slane Castle appeared on the screens, along with a QR code allowing fans to register for more information.

The concert marks another major milestone for Fontaines D.C., who headlined Electric Picnic for the first time this weekend following their rise from earlier appearances at the festival.

Slane Castle has hosted some of the biggest names in music since Thin Lizzy played the first concert there in 1981, including U2, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Queen and Madonna.
