Mayo’s All-Ireland-winning footballers join The Saw Doctors on stage at Electric Picnic
Mayo’s All-Ireland-winning footballers were among the stars of Electric Picnic’s final day on Sunday, joining The Saw Doctors on the Main Stage for a rousing rendition of The Green and Red of Mayo.
Thirteen members of the squad took part in the performance, just over a month after the county ended its 75-year wait for the Sam Maguire Cup.
Fontaines D.C. later brought Electric Picnic 2026 to a close with their first headline set at the festival, ending the night with a tease for a Slane Castle show which was confirmed on Monday morning.
Rain and muddy conditions remained part of the picture on Sunday, but another packed line-up played out across Stradbally, with Amble, Djo, James Marriott, Ravyn Lenae, Skye Newman, Adéla and Florence Road among the acts taking to the stages.
Lily Aron, Kean Kavanagh, Leo Moran, Davy Carton and Amble’s Ross McNerney were also among those captured on the final day.
