Coronation Street spoilers follow for Wednesday’s (2 September) episode, which is available to stream on ITVX and YouTube and is yet to air on ITV.
Kit Green makes a risky decision with Jodie Ramsey in tonight’s (2 September) episode of Coronation Street. It comes after Sarah Platt recently ended her relationship with Kit after being sent to prison for the murder of Theo Silverton.
However, with a night of passion confirmed for the character with a mystery person, could Jodie be the individual in question? Or is another twist to come?

This evening’s scenes, which are available to stream but haven’t yet been broadcast on ITV, begin as Shona struggles at home with David away.
After Shona tells Lily off over the length of her skirt, Jodie intervenes on the downlow, suggesting she leave the house doing what Shona says but do what she wants when she’s out the way.
Later on, Jodie overhears Bethany arranging a date while litter picking for community service. Before the two share a moment of tension, Bethany puts her in her place.
At the Rovers, Jodie comes in from her shift and gets chatting to Kit at the bar, noting that he is still hung up about Sarah. She then proposes a drink the next day, and although he initially rejects her, Kit quickly changes his mind and takes her up on her offer.
Back home, Jodie moans about Bethany to Shona, though the latter defends her. However, when she has to suddenly go and soothe a crying Harper, Jodie starts to bond with Lily after they realise they have a mutual dislike of Bethany.

The Kit plot comes ahead of scenes next week, in which he feels guilt after sleeping with a mysterious person — especially after seeing a photo of Sarah and himself.
Speaking about the passionate encounter, actor Jacob Roberts recently said: “Well technically, Sarah let him go, so Kit hasn’t cheated, I’d say. Obviously, it’s still raw. He just thinks, ‘you know what? I’m not having it. I’m not being told what to do. I’m just going to go there and I’m going to have a bit of fun’.”
He continued: “And I think it comes with the whole thing that he’s just found out he’s got some bad news. So he’s sort of like, ‘I’m just going to do it’.”
Next week, Kit will receive the devastating news that he has stage three breast cancer following a consultant appointment, which has spread to his lymph nodes.
Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
