Coronation Street’s Sally Metcalfe grows suspicious of Lucy Parkinson next week, after little Shanice Michaelis breaks house rules and takes a trip to the Kabin on her own. Is Sally right to believe that Lucy is to blame?
At No 4, Lucy hands Shanice some cash and instructs her to go to the shop and buy some sweet treats. At first, Shanice reminds the teen that she’s not allowed to leave the house by herself, but Lucy convinces her that she won’t breathe a word.

Still, it doesn’t take long for Sally to discover where Shanice has been…
“Brian soon knocks at the door with Shanice in tow,” explains our Weatherfield informant. “He reveals that the little’un turned up at the shop unaccompanied, which must’ve been quite the shock for him!
“Sally quickly deduces that Lucy played some part in it, but little does she know the troubled teenager has something else up her sleeve. You’ll have to wait to see what it is…”
The week begins with Lucy making it clear that she doesn’t want to attend her mum Rachel’s funeral. This shocks Tim, who was under the impression that Lucy would want to give her mother a fitting send-off. So why is Lucy so against the idea of going to the funeral?
Despite her reservations, the schoolgirl shows up to bid farewell to her mum, before returning to the Metcalfe house. Once home, Lucy confesses to Sally that she feels let down that her dad Richie wasn’t there, as she only went along because she was hoping to see him.

“Sally is unsettled that Lucy doesn’t seem emotional about her mum, particularly on such a difficult day,” continues our spy.
“Even if Lucy feels loyalty to Richie – who is in prison accused of killing Rachel, don’t forget – you would think that she would be mostly thinking about her mum as she is laid to rest.”
As Sally and Tim continue to care for Lucy under their roof, can they find a way to put her on the right track? Or will she cause trouble that even they can’t handle?
